As with all GeForce RTX 3080, the card itself runs on NVIDIA’s new 8nm Ampere GPU architecture, along with the same 10GB GDDR6X graphics memory and 19Gbps memory clock. Of course, it also features 2nd generation RT Cores and 3rd generation Tensor Cores.
As to what Zotac is bringing to the table with the RTX 3080 Trinity, the card features the brand’s triple-fan Icestorm 2.0 cooling solution, complete with the brand’s FREEZE Fan Stop control. And yes, the card also comes with built-ini RGB LEDs that is also customisable via Zotac’s FireStorm utility program. Running the card will require two 8-pin PCIe connectors, as well as a PSU with 750W, minimum. Ports-wise, you’re looking at a standard of three DisplayPort 1.4a ports and an HDMI 2.1 port. The latter obviously for 8K resolution output, provided you have the required cable and TV.
Price-wise, the Zotac GeForce RTX 3080 Trinity retails for RM3439 (true to what the company has promised earlier) and is available at all authorised resellers and PC stores. You can check out the list of stores on Zotac Malaysia’s official Facebook page. Be advised, if you intend to purchase the card via the official NVIDIA GeForce Store on Lazada, the card, oddly enough, is being sold for an additional RM50 at RM3489.
