As a start, the Z5 features a 6.38-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED notched display, with a screen-to-body ratio of 90%. Underneath the hood, the phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC, up to 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Powering up the display and all its components is a sizable 4500mAh battery, which can be charged via the phone’s USB-C port. Speaking of charging, the Z5 also supports Vivo FlashCharge technology, with a power transfer rate of 22.5W.
Moving on to its camera sensors, the Z5 features a triple-camera main module, comprising a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle, and a 2MP depth-of-field sensor. At the front, the previously mentioned notch in the middle of the display houses a 32MP selfie camera. At current, the Vivo Z5 is on sale in China for 1598 Yuan (~RM959) for the 6GB/64GB variant, 1898 Yuan (~RM1139) for the 6GB/128GB model, 1998 Yuan (~RM1198) for a 6GB/256GB version, and lastly, 2298 Yuan (~RM1379) for the 8GB/128GB model. The phone is also available in three colour variants: Purple (Aurora Illusion), Blue and White (Holographic Illusion), and Green (Bamboo Forest Night).
