The button has a sparkle icon, and tapping on it brings out the option for you to switch between “Top Tweets” and the reverse-chronological feed. This does still mean that the former is the default, but at least you don’t have to dive deep into the settings to change the order of your feed.

According to TechCrunch, the feed settings will be reset every once in a while and you’ll have to change them back to reverse-chronological order. It appears that the micro-blogging platform is still experimenting with the duration. At the very least, this setting won’t change in the middle of a session. This feature is now live on iOS, with an Android implementation expected to be made soon. If you’re on Twitter via a browser, then you’ll have to do some digging to change these settings.
