The new Spectacles 3 now comes with a second HD camera for depth perception. With the second camera and the depth perception ability, the Snapchat Spectacles 3 is now effectively a pair of AR glasses. There will also be new 3D effects to take advantage of this, and will be exclusive to this new Spectacles 3.
Beyond that, the Snapchat Spectacles 3 is a lot like the previous generation Spectacles. You take photos and videos with it, then sync them to your phone for editing, then send it to your Snapchat contacts or other platforms like YouTube. Photos are taken at a 1642 x 1642 resolution, while videos come are recorded at 1216 x 1216. It also comes with 4GB of internal storage. The Snapchat Spectacles 3 are priced at an eye-watering US$380 (~RM1589), over double the price of the previous generation Spectacles. They will be made available in November 2019.
