The best part is, he and his wife/long time collaborator Lotta Losten, did it during the Covid-19 pandemic, while under quarantine. The short titled Shadowed isn’t necessarily groundbreaking or profound, but it sure as hell highlights the filmmaker’s imagination and his ability to deliver cool visual spookiness with limited resources. Sandberg previously promised that he’ll explain how he made the film. Now, David Sandberg has released a video called Good Enough — The Making of Shadowed and boy is it a must-watch for film buffs and aspiring filmmakers. The 18-minute video breaks down each moment in the Shadowed and highlights the intricacies that went into bringing a three-minute short to life. What’s really inspiring is the passion that clearly went into the making of this short and how nothing, not even a ‘lockdown’ can stop an artist from expressing their creativity through their art form.
