As of 8pm Malaysian time, the feature appeared as an update on our Samsung Galaxy S10+, with a size of 284.18MB. In addition to the camera feature, the update also includes the promised fix for the phones’ fingerprint recognition algorithm.
In order to check if you are successfully updated, head over to the Camera app and check for a slow-mo video mode. If you’ve already received the update your Galaxy S10 or S10+ happens to sports them, you should give the feature a try. In addition to these features, the update also provides improvements to the Wi-Fi with Intelligent Wi-Fi 1.5 and Auto Hotspot feature. The latter automatically kicking in when you have a device signed in to your Samsung account nearby, enabling both devices to be connected to the Internet.
At the moment, it seems that the software is only rolling out for Samsung’s Galaxy S10 lineup. It also unclear if the Galaxy Note 10 lineup will be getting the same update for the slow-mo selfie feature.
