Specifically, the Samsung Care+ plan coverage includes protection against accidental physical damages and liquid spills. For those who opted for the 2-year plan, it will also cater to mechanical and electrical breakdowns throughout the second year of the Care+ period. Additionally, Samsung Care+ plan also provides pick up service for the damaged device right from their doorstep and will also deliver it back once the repair is done without an additional delivery fee. Samsung would also replace the damaged device if the company found it to be unrepairable. Starting at RM 55, the price for the Samsung Care+ plan depends on the respective Galaxy devices. This also applies to the service fee that one has to pay for each service request which is said to be much lower than the standard service fee users have to pay out to the Care+ plan.
We noticed that Galaxy Z Fold2, Galaxy Z Fold, and Galaxy Z Flip are somehow not listed inside the table. While we have reached out to Samsung Malaysia to obtain further clarification, do note that these three devices do have their own protection scheme under the Galaxy Z Premier Service which is provided as a standard to the owners. Meanwhile, the Care+ plan is only available within 14 days of the device’s purchase date which means that you can only obtain it if you bought your Galaxy phone or tablet from 2 April 2021 onwards.
