As for what is being made available in Malaysia, it seems that Ruark Audio will be unleashing its full range of audio offerings to the masses. Including R7. R5, R3, MR1, and MRx. Sitting at the top of the product range is the R7, Ruark Audio’s radiogram – a radio and record player built into one – that could easily look like part of room’s decor. Retailing for RM15999, the R7 features dual concentric drivers and a downward firing subwoofer. Plus, a well-integrated class A-B amplifier. Of course, the R7 is designed to keep up with the times, and as such, it does come with the usual accoutrement of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. As an extra added bonus, as well as a nod to the medium, the R7 also comes with a slot-loading CD player.
Moving down the list, there’s the R5 and R3, both of which are more compact and scaled down versions of the R7, but more importantly, they both feature support for Bluetooth aptX. Price-wise, the speakers retail for RM6999 and RM3999, respectively. If the R7 is a little too rich for your blood or if you’re simply in the market for a pair of high-quality, compact Bluetooth speakers, there’s the MR1 and MRx that retail for RM2099 and RM2399, respectively. Like the R7, the MR1 features custom-made Ruark tweeters and woofers, along with the same Class A-B amplifier. While the MRx is a one-piece speaker designed for ease-of-use and even easier portability.
The Ruark Audio R7, R5, MR1, and MRx are already available for purchase at all authorised resellers and online retailers. As for the R3, the speaker will only be available in Malaysia at the end of August.
