The new realme C30s sports a notched 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with 720 x 1600 pixel resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and brightness of up to 400 nits. Apart from the fingerprint scanner mentioned earlier, also featured on the smartphone is a loudspeaker, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a microUSB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. Design-wise, this variant actually looks very similar to the original C30, and is available in Stripe Blue and Stripe Black colours. Moving on to its interior, equipped on the new entry-level is a Unisoc SC9863A octa-core chipset, which has a slightly lower clock speed when compared to the Unisoc T612 on its sibling. Paired together with the processor is an IMG8322 GPU, up to 4 GB of RAM, up to 64 GB of internal storage, and a microSD card slot for added storage. Powering the phone is a 5,000 mAh battery, along with charging speed support of only 10W. Additionally, it also comes with Android 12 via realme UI Go, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, but no NFC support. As for imaging, found on the back of the realme C30s is a lone 8MP primary camera with AI capabilities, and is able to record 1080p videos at 30 fps. Meanwhile, housed within the notch of its display is a 5 MP selfie camera with 720p 30 fps video recording capability. The new entry-level realme smartphone will first go on sale in Malaysia on 25 November 2022 via the brand’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada, as well as authorised stores nationwide. In conjunction with its local launch, the brand is offering the C30s at a discounted price of RM 368 for the 3 GB + 32 GB trim, and RM 459 for the 4 GB + 64 GB option until 27 November.
