While the BlackWidow name has been part of Razer’s keyboard catalogue since its early days, there have been a lot of variants. The latest refresh seems to have gone back to basics; it’s a full keyboard complete with numeric pad, but with no additional macro keys. It’s also fitted with the most modern-day Razer flair. Including 0support for Razer Chroma, on-board memory, N-key rollover, and Razer’s clicky Green switches.
Razer’s third generation Kraken headphones , on the other hand, implements new tech that we first saw in the Nari. Such as the cooling gel-infused cushions and hidden indented eyewear channels for glasses. Beyond that, everything else about this Kraken will be familiar to those who are already using the headset.
And finally, we come to the Basilisk Essential. It’s essentially a simpler version of the existing Basilisk – it comes with seven programmable buttons instead of eight, a 6400DPI sensor instead of a 16000DPI sensor, and does without the custom wheel tensioning. The new Razer BlackWidow (2019), Razer Kraken (2019) and the Razer Basilisk Essential are priced at RM579, RM449 and RM239, respectively. They are all already on the Razer Store, should you decide to get either of them. (Source: Razer [1], [2], [3], [4])
