The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro sports a 6.3-inch FHD+ Infinity Display, which can be used with gloves and even when the screen is wet. The phone is weatherproof with a rating of IP68 for water and dust resistance, and boasts a MIL-STD-810G certification for enduring extreme weather conditions. With its own encasing, the XCover Pro could withstand impact and drops from a height of up to 1.5m. Under the hood, the rugged smartphone is equipped with a Samsung Exynos 9611 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 512GB via microSD card), and runs on the Android 10 operating system....

Underneath the 2-in-1 design is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 mobile chipset. Thanks to this SoC and built-in gigabit LTE radio, it allows the Galaxy Book 2 to always stay connected to the internet. The screen of the Galaxy Book 2 is also touch-capable and measures 12-inches. It also has a kickstand similar to Microsoft’s Surface devices that allows the devices to lay “almost flat” on a table. Out of the box, the device runs on Microsoft’s Windows S mode for hassle-free usability, but also includes an upgrade path to full Windows when needed down the road....

South Korean news outlet The Elec cites sources claiming that Samsung will be giving waterproofing to the Galaxy A33 that will be released next year. Three other models will be getting the treatment according to the report. They are the Galaxy A53, its 5G variant, and the Galaxy A73. While these devices will be getting waterproofing, the report did not specify an actual IP rating. For the A53 and A73, these will likely retain the IP67 ratings of their respective predecessors....

According to SamMobile, the brand’s Chinese branch has recently teased that the chipset will see a launch in Shanghai on 12 November 2020. Typical of any teaser, Samsung did not reveal much details regarding the new Exynos, with the exception of its 5G capability. A separate report by Android Authority revealed that the company has confirmed that the upcoming chip will be a direct successor to the Exynos 980 SoC....

The Sony Mocopi is a motion capture kit that consists of six sensors, each about the size of, say, an Apple AirTag. In regards to the death of Supreme Leader Snoke, Abrams said that it actually made him laugh, when he first read the draft. Abrams also talks about perhaps the most controversial decision Johnson made in The Last Jedi, which is to explore Luke’s flaws....

In an update for the Steam beta client, Valve says that it has added input support for the DualSense controller. But that’s about all that was added, as the company says rumble, trackpad and gyro support are not being supported just yet. The company is also fixing issues with the Xbox Series X controller showing up as two separate controllers. It’s only natural that DualSense controller support has not yet been ironed out completely....

Kotaku reports that Apple has approved the app, and then taken the approval away, citing “business conflicts”. Things stayed that way for nearly a whole year until now, and Apple has finally granted approval for the app once again. The app also supports controllers via Bluetooth. This includes the Steam Controller and Made for iPhone (MFI) controllers. On the app’s page, we see a familiar list of requirements for the app to work....

For now, Steam will only automatically update games you’ve installed if you’ve played them in the last three days. Instead, the update will be spread out over several days. That being said, you will still have the option to manually update them at any time, should you suddenly want to play them. Alternatively, you can schedule automatic updates on your own or self-throttle your connection to Steam. And especially for games you haven’t played in a very long time, you can turn off automatic updates altogether....

Durov explained that its users have been asking Telegram to raise its current limits on chats, media and file uploads, but doing so will cause several issues. These include an influx of traffic on its servers, resulting in increased costs beyond what the company could afford.
