For those who are not familiar with Snapdragon mobile chip designation, the Snapdragon 8 and 7 Series are predominantly reserved for premium products. The designated platform for the mid-range market would then be the Snapdragon 6 Series which is then followed by Snapdragon 4 and Snapdragon 2 Series products for the mass and low-end markets, respectively. Motorola is one of the first manufacturers that have publicly noted its commitment to Snapdragon 6 Gen 1....

The 12C looks very similar to the brand’s most affordable smartphone, the A1, but with improved specs including a bigger display. The new Redmi Buds 3 Lite is equipped with Xiaomi Sound Lab-tuned 6mm drivers which delivers audio from connected devices via Bluetooth 5.2 transmission. While it lacks ANC capabilities, the device does come with noise cancelling for calls which uses the built-in microphones and noise-reduction algorithm to filter out external noises from the user’s voice. The fairly lengthy report talks mainly about Sony’s recent preference for the larger PlayStation studios. It mentions a small team known as the Visual Arts Service Group, and the way its plans to remake the first Uncharted game from 2007 was shot down. The VASG would then be working on a remake of The Last of Us from 2013. Down the line, PlayStation decided that the studio will get help from Naughty Dog itself, the studio that created the franchise....

In a blog post by Facebook’s Vice President of Engineering and Infrastructure, Santosh Janardhan, the root cause behind the massive downtime was apparently due to some configuration changes that were performed on the company’s backbone routers. He pointed out that these routers were responsible for the traffic between Facebook’s data centres. The changes somehow interrupted the traffic flow which then led to the global-scale downtime. Santosh was quick to point out that the company didn’t find any evidence that user data has been compromised during the incident....

First and foremost, the Galaxy Note 10 series does come in two form factors. One being the standard Galaxy Note 10 which is equipped with 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display while the other model is the Galaxy Note 10+ that comes with a 6.8-inch display instead. In addition to size, the resolution of the display on these devices is different as well. The Galaxy Note 10 is listed as 2280 x 1080 with a pixel density of 401ppi as opposed to the Galaxy Note 10+ that has 3040 x 1440 display with 498ppi pixel density....

Based on the listing, the device – listed as SM-G9860 – will supposedly be a “5G digital mobile telephone set”, alluding to the possibility that the supposed Galaxy S11 will bear 5G connectivity. On top of that, the phone will also feature support for 25W fast-charging. Prior to this report, serial leakster, Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) had previously leaked a screenshot of Samsung’s One UI 2.0 beta running on the Galaxy Note9....
