The company took to its official Twitter and Weibo accounts to tease the new concept, along with an accompanying image that provides a glimpse of the device. “Big screen? Small screen? Infinite screen? In the future, your mobile phone may be able to retract freely,” it wrote in Weibo. From the image, it appears that the OPPO device features a display with curved corners which could extend past the right side of its chassis. This would allow the phone to stretch its display from a portrait size to landscape, an approach that is somewhat similar but handled differently by foldable handsets such as the Huawei Mate Xs and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2.
