The OPPO Reno3 Pro model, based on the image provided by OPPO Malaysia, is likely based on the global edition of the phone instead of the Chinese release. The device features a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a pill shaped punch-hole cutout, as well as featuring an in-display fingerprint sensor. Hardware-wise, the handset is packed with a Snapdragon 765G chipset, up to 12GB RAM, and up to 256GB internal storage. It is equipped with a 4,025mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging support, and runs on OPPO’s Color OS 7 based on Android 10 out of the box.
The Reno 3 Pro’s quad camera setup features a 64MP main, 13MP telephoto with 2X optical zoom, 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP mono lens. In the pill shaped punch-hole cutout is a 44MP camera and a 2MP depth sensor. OPPO Malaysia did not reveal any information regarding the standard version of the Reno3, so we’re uncertain if it will be based on the 5G-enabled MediaTek Dimensity 100L variant or the non-5G Mediatek Helio P90 model.
Additionally, the company did not reveal their pricing or an exact date for the Reno3 series’ local launch, but mentioned that the phones will arrive “in the coming weeks.” We’ll keep you updated once we have received more information from OPPO Malaysia in the near future (Source: OPPO press release)
