Similar to the Android rollout, Netflix is releasing five titles for Apple devices. Namely, Stranger Things: 1984, Stranger Things 3: The Game, Shooting Hoops, Card Blast, and Teeter Up. All the games require you to have a Netflix subscription and will ask you to sign in; if you are already logged into the Netflix app, you will be automatically logged in the first time you launch the games.
As we’ve tested, all the games can be played offline as long as you are already logged into your account. The progress of each game is also tied to individual profiles, so your saves won’t be disturbed by other people on the same account. As promised by Netflix, Kids profiles don’t have access to the games, although they could easily just switch to other profiles. It’s nice that users are getting more bang for their buck as these games come at no extra cost to subscribers. Netflix plans start at RM17 per month for the mobile-only plan and top out at RM55 for the Premium tier that allows up to four devices to watch at the same time. Astro customers could also get a package with Netflix, but they start at RM129.99 per month.
