Update [7.50pm] – According to a number of official tweets coming from Maybank, the issues have been resolved. We are however still experiencing intermittent issues with Maybank2u at time of writing – which we believe is due to transactional backlogs which will clear in the next couple of hours. A Maybank spokesperson explained that the service interruption occurred earlier this afternoon owing to a technical issue which affected MEPS, TAC and some cards related transactions conducted via the Bank’s electronic banking channels. “As of now, the issue has been resolved and services are back to normal. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding”.
