Aside from their physical designs, both HBS-FN6 and HBS-FN shared several characteristics and features together. Both are equipped with 6mm drivers and have also been tuned by the British audio expert, Meridian who has also implemented Headphone Spatial Processing into both LG Tone Free earbuds alongside a set of specially made equaliser presets.
LG also claimed that both LG Tone Free earbuds have a battery life of up to 6 hours with additional 12 hours which can be gained from their respective charging cases. Speaking of the charging case, the one that is made for HBS-FN6 has additional features in it including a built-in UV sanitiser and support for wireless charging. Available through LG’s official store on Lazada and Shopee, the LG Tone Free HBS-FN6 is priced at RM 799 while the HBS-FN4 goes for RM 599. While this has yet to appear at either store, we were informed by LG Malaysia’s representative that these earbuds can be obtained at a much lower price between 1 to 10 October 2020. Specifically, they will be offered at RM 499 and RM 299, respectively. So, do hold your horses for now if you are already interested to get your hands on these new LG Tone Free earbuds.
