As its name implies, SlowMo reduces the speed of recorded videos which now plays it for two seconds in each direction instead of one. Echo adds a motion blurring effect where a translucent trail appears behind moving objects. Duo rapidly rewinds the video clip to the beginning with a glitch-like digitised effect. Lastly, Trimming allows users to edit the length of the clip by determining when it starts or ends.

As pointed out by TechCrunch, these effects aren’t actually anything new – similar special effects have been available for some time on TikTok, the platform’s major competitor.
