For starters, the launch of Mate 20 series, MateBook X Pro, and MateBook X will take place in three different locations throughout Peninsular Malaysia this coming weekend, 27 and 28 October. Specifically, the main launch event will be in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur with Queensbay Mall Penang and AEON Mall Bandar Dato Onn in Johor Bharu as the other two launch venues.
As part of the launch campaign, Huawei is offering free DJI Tello drone to customers that choose to obtain their new Mate 20 devices at these launch venues. Similarly, MateBook customers will also receive a Huawei Active Noise Cancelling Earphones if they choose to pick up their new laptops at any of these locations. Pre-order customers that choose to physically collect their devices at these locations will be able to grab these freebies as well on top of all the goodies that they already entitled from the pre-order promotion. However, only a limited number of freebies will be made available over there as you can see in the presentation slide below.
The Huawei Mate 20 will be available in Malaysia starting from 27 October onwards with a price tag of RM 2799 while the Mate 20 Pro can be obtained for RM 3599. On another hand, the Huawei MateBook X Pro has a starting price tag of RM 4999 and the MateBook D will go for RM 2999.
