Among the notable remark that Dr Roh has stated in the piece is that Samsung will be expanding its foldable line-up to make the segment more accessible to the consumers. Now, accessible could mean a variety of things but we do hope that what the lead man of Samsung Mobile meant by that is more towards pricing.
In addition to that, Dr Roh has also stated that the company will be bringing over some of the Galaxy Note features to other devices. While he didn’t specifically name the features but did refer to them as “well-loved features” which could likely include the S Pen that has been rumoured for Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 3. The editorial piece has also mentioned intelligent camera and video capabilities with pro-grade quality. Not only that, Dr Roh also noted that Samsung is working to boost the capabilities of on-device AI for its Galaxy products in order to deliver improved pictures and videos as well as helping optimise battery life, storage space, display, and more.
Another part of the editorial that caught our attention is when Dr Roh stated that the company is working to make it easier to locate keys, wallet, and family pets. That sounds exactly like the Galaxy Smart Tag that has been making its way into the rumour mill recently. Last but not least, Dr Roh concludes the editorial by saying that more details will be revealed in January. This is in line with the rumours that we have heard before which suggested that the launch event of Galaxy S21 will likely take place on 14 January 2021.
All in all, it is quite clear that Samsung has plenty of devices that it will unpack (heh) very soon. Hence, expect more rumours and leaks about Samsung Galaxy products to pop up online for the next few weeks.
