In total, the new Z590 AORUS motherboard lineup comprises four models, including the Z590 AORUS Master, Z590 AORUS Pro AX, Z590 AORUS Extreme, and the Z590I AORUS Ultra. One of several key features of the new motherboards is that they finally support the current PCIe 4.0 interface, officially bringing Intel on to a slightly more level playing field with its direct rival, AMD, and its own enthusiast-level X570 motherboards.
Additionally, the new Z590 AORUS motherboards are also equipped with the most up-to-date technologies, including USB4, USB 3.2 Gen2x2, USB 3.2 Gen2, and 10GB Ethernet support. Besides support for PCIe 4.0, the Z590 AORUS also obviously comes with other Gigabyte-esque features and functions. This includes the same over-engineered construction and design, its patented Thermal Guard II heat dissipation solution, but more importantly, the boards now feature a new advanced power delivery capable of funnelling up to 2100 Amps. With up to 20+1 power phases. Then, as now, the new Z590 AORUS lineup are also integrated with the same audio engine, including a high SNR engine, studio-grade audio capacitors, ESS SABRE DAC, as well as DTS: X Ultra support. In the case of the Z590 AORUS Extreme, the motherboard features a USB-C interface that feature a built-in ESS SABRE Hi-Fi ES9280C Pro DAC. At the time of writing, Gigabyte did not specify local availability or pricing for its new Z590 AORUS series motherboards.
