One such dev is Tim Ash of BoxFrog Games, the developer of Lost Wing. Speaking to GamingBolt, Ash says that having less load times means less immersion breaking. This will be especially true for games with a lot of dying and respawning, like Lost Wing.
Ash also said that the new CPU of the PS5 is “a huge step up”. He says that the new hardware gets rid of many calculations restrictions hampering current gen consoles. This helps cut down development time, with less time also being spent optimising the game. While there is no official announcement date for the PS5 yet, it is expected to be sometime in 2020. Lost Wing, on the other hand, will be launched soon for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. (Source: GamingBolt [1], [2])
