The telco did launch a new prepaid pack a few days later after the so-called glitch, but it still doesn’t contain any unlimited offerings. We thought that would be the end of the story but guess we spoked too soon as according to a report by Soya Cincau, Digi Prepaid Unlimited Pass made an appearance once again.
However, this time around, the RM 35 monthly pass is only available through Digi Rewards’ Box of Surprise. If you not familiar with Box of Surprise, it periodically provides offers based on users’ consumption habit. In other words, the pass can only be obtained by a select group of customers. When we reached out to Digi for further clarifications, the telco’s representative has acknowledged the existence of the unlimited pass but provided no comment when asked if Digi has the plan to launch the unlimited pass to wider masses anytime soon. All in all, Digi Prepaid unlimited pass is currently exclusive to chosen customers for now. So, if you do not see the pass in MyDigi app, looks like your consumption habit somehow does not match Digi’s preferences which are not something that the telco has disclosed publicly anyway.
