For social media, gaming, video and music streaming, you’ll be using data from your existing data plan. Still, the free “productivity” Internet is available to all active Digi Postpaid and Prepaid customers, who can enjoy the extra data over and above their usual allocation.
Digi said it will also continue to give free and unlimited access to a number of COVID-19 related and informational apps, websites, and services. This includes the MySejahtera app, the National Crisis Preparedness Response Centre (CPRC) Hotline, the Ministry of Health’s page and World Health Organization’s websites. Also, Digi said it will be offering RM5 worth of Internet prepaid credit or postpaid bill rebate to eligible recipients of the Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR) programme. To take advantage of this, eligible BPR recipients should send “BPR” to 28282 to register their interest for the RM5 internet credit or rebate. They will get an SMS notification upon successful verification.
