The ESRB rating for Cyberpunk 2077 was recently made public, and with it came a surprising number of revelations. Firstly and to nobody’s surprise, the game has been given an M rating for its mature content. And while guns, violence, nudity, and death are par for the course, it’s the part about that genital customisation that really caught our attention. Written right inside the rating summary, it clear that CDPR is taking the idea of character customisation and kicking it up a notch. The rating also explains that will be moments where the player character will be given a choice to engage in sexual activities – be it a prominent character or prostitutes – in brief, but equally detailed sex scenes.
On that note, the developer also told Trusted Reviews in an interview that gender expression will be “completely free”, enabling players to express their character as a male, female, or gender non-conforming individual. Cyberpunk 2077 is set to launch on 17 September this year. The game will be available on both the PS4 and Xbox One console, as well as the PC. The game will also be arriving on the Google Stadia platform, although it remains to be seen whether it will launch in tandem with the other platforms or at a later date.

It fell short of saying what the event would be about, but many are expecting it to be a new trailer of the game, complete with new gameplay details. (Source: ESRB via TrustedReviews)
