The watch boasts the brand’s square case shape and is decked out with all-white colour theme, along with a NASA logo on its watch face and a US flag on the band loop. On its rear case is an engraving of the Moon.
Like the standard G-Shock DW5600 model, the NASA edition also includes staple functions such as a Flash Alert and an EL backlight with After Glow. What makes this variant special is that an image of the Moon also appears on the digital display when it is illuminated.
Other than that, the limited edition timepiece features 12-hour and 24-hour time formats, a multi-function alarm, countdown timer, and 1/100-second stopwatch. Casio adds that the model is water-resistant to depths of approximately 650ft and it is, of course, shock resistant. The G-Shock NASA watch is available on the Casio website for US$130 (~RM567), and is planned to be shipped out during the second week of May 2020. The timepiece arrives in a custom packaging and a tin that, according to the company, is reminiscent of NASA’s space vehicles. (Source: Casio [1][2])
