The first model is the Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor (AW2523HF), which features a 25-inch IPS display panel with FHD (1920 x 1080 px) resolution, a whopping 360 Hz refresh rate, and 0.5 ms GtG (grey to grey) response time. Additionally, it also comes with AMD FreeSync Premium Technology support and VESA AdaptiveSync certification. The monitor’s overall look is based on Alienware’s new Legend 2.0 design language, featuring a small hexagonal base and an integrated retractable headset hanger on its left-hand side. The brand is offering the 25-inch AW2523HF monitor in one colour scheme: black. Next up is the larger Alienware 27 Gaming Monitor (AW2723DF). This particular model is equipped with a 27-inch IPS display with QHD (2560 x 1440 px) resolution, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro Technology and a refresh rate of 240 Hz, which can be overclocked up to 280 Hz. The panel also features IPS Nano Colour technology with 95% DCI-P3 colour coverage, supports NVIDIA G-Sync, and is VESA DisplayHDR 600 as well as VESA AdaptiveSync certified. Additionally, Alienware says users can choose between DCI-P3 (native) and sRGB colour profiles if they wish to switch between gaming and content creation. Like its sibling, the AW2723DF is built on the brand’s Legend 2.0 design, and features an integrated retractable headset hanger as well. That being said, it does come with more features, including AlienFX lighting, 360-degree ventilation, improved cable management, and a fully adjustable stand. In terms of colour, this particular monitor model is only in Lunar Light. Alienware confirms that the new AW2523HF and AW2723DF gaming monitors will be released in Malaysia – with the former being the first to arrive later this month, while the latter is expected sometime by early September. Unfortunately, the brand has yet to reveal the local pricing for either model. (Source: Alienware press release)
