As part of the now open bug bounty program, the company is working with HackerOne. Based on the video, it seems that the DepthSense 3D camera technology is using TOF (Time of Flight) technology, which is what enables the little girl in the video create those light paintings in AR (Augmented Reality) mode for her father. The video also goes on to showcase the other applications of the technology, including sending messages, and modified photos and videos. Interestingly enough, and if you pay close attention, the smartphone being used in the demo video doesn’t look anything like an Xperia smartphone....
